Pragati distinguished its positioning by offering contract labour outsourcing services with special emphasis to Mathadi (un-registered/unprotected) labour. Due to the complexities of outsourcing unprotected labour in India, our pioneering efforts established this as a unique service by Pragati in India.

Following our success in the field of Mathadi labour, Pragati used its experience to expand its business portfolio to other types of labour outsourcing such as warehouse level staff, delivery boys etc. Our core competency continued to be staffing reliable blue collar labour.

Pragati ventured into the retail industry, offering start-to-end logistics such as transportation services in and across India, last mile deliveries and staffing.

Started operations in ports and developed services to provide support to CFS (Container Freight Station) companies. We began 24/7 permanent warehousing (Central Warehousing, Re-Packaging and In-Store Delivery), which was a major milestone due to the scale of operations and the large amount of manpower.

Pragati began staffing in the white collar segment, outsourcing audited and specialized talent for the roles of facility management and payroll. We presently have the largest database of skilled specialists in India.

As a logical extension to the other services we offer, we started a successful Consultancy/ Liasoning division to provide informed legal advice and assistance to our clients in dealing with government agencies, licenses, trade certifications, labour boards, union issues, local problems etc.

Pragati took advantage of the advent of e-commerce companies and developed end-to-end services for warehousing, collating orders and dispatch.

Started services to the Film, Advertising and Television industry (locations, accommodation, transportation, food & beverage, equipment hire, talent and special crew). We also began to provide backend support to the Food & Vegetables industry—supplying food and vegetable items sourced directly from Indian farmers and distributed to retail.
